Seit gestern bin ich nun in meiner neuen “Heimat” Hamburg.
Und pünktlich zu meiner Ankunft, fing es an zu schneien, als ich bei Ryanair aus dem Flugzeug stieg und über das “Rollfeld” zum Ausgang lief. Und um eure Fragen vorweg zu nehmen, ja es ist kalt. Es ist bitter, bitter kalt und ich wünsche mir meine gewohnten Melbourne-Temperaturen wieder zurück.
Nach meiner Ankunft ging es erst mal in mein Hotel.
Ich habe mir ein Zimmer in einem Appartementhotel gebucht, wo jeder Raum eine kleine Küchenzeile hat. So bin ich nicht darauf angewiesen immer essen zu gehen und kann mich prima selbst versorgen.
War zumindest die Idee dahinter.
Zugegeben es ist günstig… aber warum muss günstig denn immer gleich in billig ausarten?? Ich bin echt froh, dass ich hier nur einen Monat bin und dann endlich in meine neue Wohnung kann! Ich glaube ich würde es hier auch nicht unbedingt länger aushalten wollen. Aber es ist zweckmäßig und liegt auch nicht zu weit weg von der U-Bahn.
Und es ist wohl auch normal, dass man seine gewohnte Umgebung (Melbourner Wohnung) immer mehr mag, als das Neue. Und erst recht, als ein günstiges Hotelzimmer.
Anyway…
Nachdem ich also das Hotel gefunden hatte, “wollte ich erst mal einkaufen. Supermarkt-Shopping um meinen Kühlschrank zu füllen.
Ich fragte also an der Rezeption nach, wo der nächste Supermarkt sei und bekam als Antwort:
“Etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt.”
Mhhh keine gute Idee, da ich hier nicht gedenken werde ein Auto zu haben. Also fragte ich nochmal, ob es nicht irgendwo Lebensmittel in der Nähe zu kaufen gäbe.
Rezeptionsmensch: “Nun jaaaa, in der Nähe ist ein Aldi.”
Ich: “Das ist doch prima.”
Rezeptionsmensch: “Aber ich dachte sie suchen einen Supermarkt.”
Ich: verdutztes Gesicht…
Das Aldi kein Supermarkt ist, war mir bislang zwar neu, aber die Hamburger haute volée wird schon wissen wovon sie spricht *g*
Mir war das egal, denn ich hatte nun zum allerallerallerersten mal die Gelegenheit Fuß in einen ALDI Nord zu setzen!! Selbst in Melbourne ist Aldi Süd. Was mir jedoch gleich auffiel, war das Schild. Im Gegensatz zu ALDI Süd steht bei Nord kein Nord auf dem Schild *g*!!! (siehe Bild oben!)
Und innen… Das Angebot ist völlig anders als in meinen gewohnten Aldis. Aber man findet im Grunde alles was man braucht, aber alles ist anders angeordnet, weswegen ich erst einmal ziemlich ziellos durch den Supermarkt Aldi lief. Aber es gibt sogar Zeitschriften!!!!
Danach ging es auf die Suche nach einem dm-Markt. Aber hier wurde ich enttäuscht. Ich hatte bei meinen vorherigen Besuchen in HH bereits festgestellt nie einen dm gesehen zu haben, konnte aber diesen Mangel nicht glauben. Aber tatsächlich, es gibt keinen!!!
Dafür gibt es einen BUDNI (kurz für Budnikovski). Budni scheint eine Kombination aus Parfümerie, Ökomarkt und Drogeriemarkt zu sein. UND…führt auch Balea-Produkte, was zumindest auf eine Kooperation mit dm zurückführen lässt. Ich finde noch näher heraus, wie das alles zusammenhängt!!! *g*
Ansonsten war ich gestern extrem platt. Eine merkwürdige Grippe hat mich erwischt und steckte mir gestern noch arg in den Knochen.
Ich hoffe mal bis morgen ist alles wieder weg, denn wer will an seinem ersten Arbeitstag schon krank sein!?
Vielleicht gehe ich später mal noch ein wenig die Gegend erkunden, aber um ehrlich zu sein glaube ich nicht, dass es in meiner unmittelbaren Umgebung außer dem BurgerKing und einem McDoof viel zu entdecken gibt.
Und da ist sie auch schon… die Frage die mich seit langem beschäftigt… Was macht man in Deutschland an einem Sonntag???? Alle Geschäfte sind zu. Ich wohne nicht wirklich joggingfreundlich hier. Draußen ist es kalt und um meinen DVD-Player anzuschließen (Weihnachtsgeschenk von Bruder Fudge), fehlt mir ein Scart Kabel.
Also was macht ihr sonntags??? Tipps, Ideen, Vorschläge bitte hierher!!! (Aber denkt daran ich bin noch etwas krank! :-))
