So, ich bin in Hamburg. Doch je länger ich hier bin, um so deutlicher wird, dass ich Melbourne mehr und mehr vermisse. Es ist meine Stadt, mein Leben, meine große Liebe. Kein Wunder, dass ich da jede Chance ergreife, um dem Land in dem die Stadt meines Herzens sitzt, ein Stückchen näher zu sein.
Als bestes Beispiel, wäre heute zu nennen.
Heute bekam ich mein neues MacBook. Nach Feierabend wartete es geduldig auf mich, dass ich es zärtlich von seiner extrem stylischen Verpackung befreie. Shiny und silbern leuchtete es munter auf meinem Sofatisch und strahlte mir aufmunternd entgegen. Wer mich kennt, weiß welche Anziehungskraft neue Gadgets auf mich ausüben. Ich bin wie besessen und kann kaum von ihnen lassen.
Doch obwohl ich den kleinen Mac entdecke und sehen wollte was er so alles kann, ließ ich ihn nach 2 Stunden alleine und ging mit Freunden aus…
Doch nicht etwa irgendwohin aus!!! Nein es ging nach Down Under! Wie der einfallsreiche Name es bereits vermuten lässt, ein Pub das Australien zum Thema hat.
Schon von weitem sah man das Fosters Schild leuchten. (Erster Faux pas, denn niemand in AUS trinkt Fosters!) Innen hörte man Live Musik, was ich schon mal recht nett fand.
Das Pub war auch brechend voll und sah überraschend gemütlich aus. Da auf den Schildern überall von “real Aussie Burgern” die Rede war, holte ich mir natürlich gleich die Karte.
Erste Inspektion trieb mir bereits Tränen des Glücks in die Augen! Endlich einmal gab es Bier das ich kannte und auch weiß, wie es schmeckt!!! Leckeres James Boags, VB oder auch Carlton sowie unaustehliche Gesöffe wie beispielsweise XXXX bot die Karte. Ich war happy.
Die Burger waren zwar ein Witz (frage mich wo da der Aussie Style war, da nicht mal rote Beete drauf waren), aber dennoch ok.
Ich sprach sogar mit einem echten Aussie und fühlte mich zum ersten Mal seit laaaanger Zeit so richtig wohl. Bier das mir vertraut ist, ein Akzent den ich mag und gute Live-Mucke… Tja, das lässt sogar den neue Mac in Vergessenheit geraten. Wer hätte das gedacht, dass ich gar nicht mal der Geek bin, für den mich immer alle halten. Man muss mir nur ein Stückchen “Heimat” geben und ich bin happy 
Und zum neuen MacBook….
Man ist das schön! Aber auch noch teuflisch kompliziert. Alles ist anders und nichts wie an einem PC.. aber alles irgendwie auch selbsterklärend und schrecklich einfach. Soooo rad!
Anyway, sobald ich mein etwas größeres iPhone (denn so kommt mir mein MacBook vor) etwas näher verstehe, werde ich mehr davon berichten.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
