Seit gestern habe ich ihn auf dem Rechner – den neuen Firefox 2.0.
Was gibt es an Neuerungen:
- Phishing-Filter
- Unterstützung für Java Script 1.7
- eine Rechtschreibkorrektur für Formulare (findet man hier )
- Per Zufall geschlossene Tabs lassen sich neu per Mausklick wieder zurückholen
- Sollte Firefox einmal abstürzen, öffnet er beim nächsten Programmstart die zuletzt besuchten Seiten
- Im Gegensatz zum IE 7 ist Firefox bereits in Deutsch verfügbar
Der neue IE wirbt ja nun auch mit Tabbed Browsing (wie viele Versionen gab es noch gleich ohne es???? Während andere Browser, wie Opera, FF, etc es schon längst hatten!!!). Ein cooles Tool dabei, ich musste es leider zugeben, ist die Quick Tab Funktion. Nach einem Klick auf das entsprechende Icon öffnet sich ein neuer Tab, in dem alle geöffneten Tabs in einer Vorschau angezeigt werden. Aber FF hat dafür natürlich ein passendes Extension, nämlich den Tab Catalog, der genau das auch kann.
Also mir gefällt es! Einziger Nachteil – ich kann mein bisheriges Theme nicht mehr verwenden, aber damit kann ich leben
