Ich hab es überlebt. Der Melbourne Cup ist vorüber. Es war bitterkalt (gefühlte 3 Grad). Wider Erwarten bin ich nicht reich vom Rennen zurückgekehrt. Ich hatte auf zwei Pferde gewettet. Zum einen auf …. ich hab den Namen vergessen.. aber es war die Startnummer 4 ;-) und dann noch auf Pop Rock (ich fand den Namen gut). Pop Rock schaffte es auch tatsächlich auf den zweiten Platz, nur leider hatte ich getippt, dass er als Sieger das Rennen verlässt. :-)
Etwas ärmer und mit leichten Grippeschüben liege ich nun im Bett. Aber das wird schon. Und das war mein Cup Day Outfit.
