Es ist gerade mal Mittwoch und schon poste ich Erkenntnisse einer ganzen Woche…
Nun ja nicht ganz. Ich habe schon lange keine Erkenntnisse mehr gepostet und so dachte ich, wird es mal wieder Zeit Steve hiermit zu füttern. Und los gehts es:
- Ohne Klimaanlage hält man es momentan in der Wohnung nicht aus. Wir haben den heißesten März seit Beginn der Wetteraufzeichnung. Seit 10 Tagen haben wir in Melbourne ohne Unterbrechung nun schon Temperaturen weit über 30 Grad.
- Ich sollte nicht so viel über das Wetter berichten, ihr werdet nur neidisch.
- Melbourne ist schlichtweg unglaublich teuer. War es ja schon immer, doch ich musste feststellen, dass dies noch schlimmer wurde, seit ich zuletzt hier lebte. Cocktails unter $16 sind kaum drin. Ein Glas Pinot Gris (Weißwein) – $9, 1 Schachtel meiner Zigaretten – $18,50, eine Zeitschrift (Runners World) $9,50, zu zweit mal essen gehen und den üblichen Wein dazu – mal ganz schnell über $100.
- Um dauerhaft meinen hamburger Lebensstandard hier zu halten, müsste ich mächtig viel Geld verdienen
- Australische Spinnen sind riesig!!! Ich hatte in der letzten Woche 2, ich wiederhole !2!, Huntsman in der Wohnung und bin fast gestorben vor Grusel.
- Ich scheine einen irischen Akzent zu haben. Anders kann ich es mir nicht erklären, weswegen mich JEDER fragt, ob ich Irin sei.
- Ich bin zu ungeduldig
- Home Office macht Spaß, aber ich hätte nichts dagegen so einmal die Woche in einem richtigen Büro zu sitzen.
So genug Erkenntnisse. Ich brauche noch ein paar für das nächste Mal *g*
