Ich bin ein sogenannter Phasenesser und ernähre mich Tage und Wochen von den selben Gerichten. Bis vor kurzem aß ich Abends nichts anderes als Rucola mit Tomate und Bocconchini (Mozzarella), dann war es Peanutbutterbrot mit Marmelade drauf. Eine Zeit lang ernährte ich mich ausschließlich von Porridge mit Bananen drin und Honig und nun esse ich bereits seit einer Woche fast täglich einen Salat mit Thunfisch, Mais, Tomaten, Zwiebeln und Oliven.
Neben diesen “festen” Nahrungsmitteln, die über längeren Zeitraum meinen Speißeplan bestimmen, gibt es aber auch konstante Lebensmittel und Gerichte, die ich immer essen kann. Und damit meine ich auch immer. Egal ob morgends oder spät in der Nacht, oder gerne auch dreimal am Tag, sieben Tage die Woche… kein Problem.
Zu diesen Gerichten gehören Laksa, Pizza, Käsekuchen und Kuchen im Allgemeinen, Sushi, Chilli Beef with Lemongras, Graupensuppe mit Markklößchen (leider gibts die nur bei Mama). Und das war es auch schon.
Und es gibt auch Lebensmittel, auf die ich locker und leicht verzichten kann. Und merkwürdigerweise scheinen diese doch sehr Deutsch zu sein. Denn ich bin wohl die einzige Deutsche in Melbourne, die nicht nach einem guten deutschen Brot lechzt. Nicht den Brezelständen in der Innenstadt nachtrauert und auch keine Sturzbäche sabbert, wenn ich nur schon an die Frühstückswurst denke muss.
Momentan bin ich neben meiner Thunfischsalat-Phase zusätzlich in einer “mir ist so nach frischem Obst”-Phase, in der ich mein Bäuchlein permanent mit selbstgemachten Smoothies fülle. Und aus diesem Grund erzählich ich euch eigentlich diesen ganzen Müll all diese Fudge-Enthüllungen.
Ich habe nämlich beschlossen auf fruchtige Entdeckungsreise zu gehen.
Es gibt so viel Obst hier in den Supermärkten, dessen Name ich nicht einmal kenne, geschweige denn aussprechen kann. Manches Obst sieht aus wie ein Alien und manches flößt mir auch Angst ein. Es gibt Obst das so groß ist wie mein Kopf und Obstsorten, die ganz sicher nicht von dieser Welt sein können.
Und genau dieses unbekannte Obst, werde ich von nun an erkunden und erforschen!
Natürlich mache ich euch Bilder davon und berichte wie es schmeckt!!! Morgen fange ich damit an! Muss sowieso noch ein bissl was einkaufen gehen.

Denke daran, diese hier stinken ganz schlimm und zwar so schrecklich, dass sie in Singapore in der UBahn und Hotels verboten sind. Die australische Variante ist wohl nicht ganz so schlimm. Also lass sie dir schmecken. Augen zu und durch!

Tommy: Ach du meinst smmothies. Da werfe ich immer rein was mir gerade gefällt und ich zu hause habe. Außer Kiwi schmeckt eigentlich alles drin.
Mein Standard-Smoothie hat immer Banane, Beeren, bissl Schokopulver, Milch, frischer Spinat und Zimt und Honig. Hin und wieder kommt auch noch ein Apfel rein.
Der Spinat klingt merkwürdig,aber den schmeckst du nicht. Er gibt dem smoothie zwar eine grüne Farbe, aber dafür ist das Ding dann auch ein absoluter Ernergie-Booster und bringt dich locker ein paar stunden durch den Tag.
