Heute 7:15 Uhr war es soweit, als der Startschuss zu meinem ersten Halbmarathon fiel.
Nachdem ich nun gute 2 Wochen vorher gar nicht trainieren konnte, weil ich mir ja die Bänder am Fuß gedehnt hatte, war ich ein wenig besorgt. Der Fuß tat definitiv noch weh. Zum Glück brachte mich der Australier auf die Idee, den Fuß zu tapen. Ich weis, am Besten wäre es gewesen ich wäre erst gar nicht gelaufen. Aber hier siegte Lust/Ehrgeiz über den Verstand.
Also stand ich heute Morgen mit getaptem Fuß an der Startlinie. Es war noch richtig dunkel, super kalt und ich war aufgeregt. Irgendwie hatte ich immer noch im Hinterkopf, dass ich vielleicht mein Ziel von 1:58 Uhr (was während des Trainings sehr realistisch war) erreichen zu können. Also ordnete ich mich im Feld für die 2+ Std Läufer ein. (Später dachte ich nur noch daran heil anzukommen, egal mit welcher Zeit 
)
Und dann ging es los…
Hinein in die Dunkelheit und den leichten Nebel und die langsam aufgehende Sonne.
Überall Füßegetrappel um mich herum und aufgeregtes Geplapper. Ich merkte schnell, dass Das Feld ein sehr schnelles Tempo lief, was bei diesen Massenveranstaltungen irgendwie immer ausbricht. Es ist schwer dagegen zu halten, aber wichtig! Sonst ist man am Ende tot.
Ich dachte die ganze Zeit, ob mein Fuß es schaffen würde…? Bis jetzt war noch alles o.k.
Und dann kamen sie plötzlich. Berge!!! Verzweifelt suchte ich in letzter Zeit hier Berge, um zu trainieren und hier waren sie plötzlich. Nicht diese ultrasteilen, nein diese ewig langen langsam ansteigenden fiesen Berge, über einige Kilometer hinweg.
Ich bin die nun gar nicht mehr gewohnt (hier ist ja alles flach) und so schnaufte ich nicht nur mächtig, sondern merkte auch so richtig wie meine Oberschenkel arbeiten mussten. Boah tat das weh.
Dann bekam ich Hunger. Ich kann so früh morgens noch nichts essen und zwang mich vorm Lauf ein paar Löffel Müsli zu essen, aber das war zu wenig. Und an den Trinkstationen gab es nur Wasser. Keine Riegel und kein Gel (was ich ziemlich ätzend fand). Und so ging auch meine Kraft lansam zur Neige. Dann machte sich der Fuß bemerkbar und somit waren die letzten 4 Kilometer echt eine Qual. Als ich das Schild sah 500m to the Finishline war ich unglaublich froh! Doch diese 500m kamen mir vor wie 10km *lach*
Was lernen wir daraus?
Immer was zu essen oder Gel mitnehmen und ein getapter Fuß mag keinen Halbmarathon.
Aber aus Fehlern lernt man ja, gell?!
Und schön wars trotzdem!!!

- Die Gewinner des HM Männer waren Scott Nicholas (1:11:33), zweiter Richard Gleisner (1:12:32) und dritter wurde Ben Fahy (1:13:30) …was Zeiten ehhh? *lach*
- Die Gewinnerinnen des HM Frauen waren Clare Geraghty (1:17.54), zweite Michelle Bleakley (1:18.40) und als dritte Kelly Jarrett (1:20.05)
- 4500 nahmen am 5k teil
- ca. 7000 liefen die 10k
- schnellster Mann Trent Harlow, in 31:34
- schnellste Frau Sarah Lofts, in 35:34
- 2500 liefen den HM (und eine davon war ich *strahl*)
Du hast es aber geschafft – gratuliere. Als ich den Beitrag gelesen habe, dachte ich, ich wäre dabei gewesen.

Ich wusste wohl, dass Sophie Kinsella auch als Madeleine Wickham schreibt und ich habe auch sogar ein oder zwei von diesen Büchern gelesen, unter anderem die Tennisparty. Absolut kein Vergleich zu den Shopaholics oder zur Undomestic Goddess, mir hat es nicht gefallen. Ich könnte die allerdings die Tennisparty schicken, wobei das vermutlich doch eine Weile dauern dürfte.
Aber da wollen wir doch mal überlegen, was wir der buchlosen Fudge empfehlen könnten…
