Große Veränderungen stehen für mich in den nächsten Monaten an. Denn Fudge zieht um. Nicht einfach in ein anderes Apartment oder eine neue Stadt, sondern gleich in ein anderes Land. Anfang 2009 geht Fudge nach Hamburg.
Eigentlich wollte ich dies auf Steve noch nicht offiziell bekanntgeben, bis ich tatsächlich den Vertrag in der Tasche habe. Aber durch irren Bürokratismus dauert dies wohl doch länger als erwartet und ich wollte euch nicht erst davon berichten, wenn ich in Hamburg sitze und mir den A… abfriere. *g*
Ja, also… ich ziehe um…. Und es dauert auch, sofern alles planmäßig verläuft, gar nicht mehr lange. Denn im Januar soll ich schon mit meinem neuen Job beginnen. Was auch der Grund für den Umzug ist.
Ihr erinnert euch, das ich im Juli in Hamburg war, um einen Auftraggeber von mir zu treffen!?
Nun, bei besagtem Meeting wurde mir ein Job angeboten. Ein sehr interessanter Job sogar. So gut, dass ich zusagte.
Und nun sitze ich hier in Melbourne, warte auf meinen Vertrag und mein Kopf schwirrt. So viel was es alles zu erledigen gibt. Doch ich will auch noch keine finalen Schritte einleiten (Wohnung mieten, Kisten verschicken, packen…) bis ich tatsächlich den Vertrag habe. Ich bin wohl zu sehr Waage, um mich hier nicht 1000fach abzusichern. Aber ich bin mir sicher am Ende wird sich alles fügen.
Seit Wochen beobachte ich nun schon den Hamburger Wohnungsmarkt, und obwohl ich immer noch keinen blassen Schimmer habe, wo man schön wohnt und wo besser nicht, durchstöbere ich bereits IKEA online. 
Das alles ist recht aufregend, aber zugleich es raubt mir auch ein wenig die Luft. Denn der Gedanke Melbourne verlassen zu müssen tut schon ganz arg weh. Es gibt so ein zwei Gründe nach Deutschland zu gehen, auf die ich mich ganz arg freue, doch Melbourne wird wohl immer in meinen Gedanken sein.
Es ist eine phantastische Stadt und Australien ein wunderbares Land und ich werde auch ganz sicher wieder hier herkommen. Es läuft ja nicht weg!
Allerdings wird mir ein wenig weh ums Herz wenn ich an das Wetter denke. Der Noden ist ja nun nicht gerade berüchtigt dafür, mit wunderbarem Wetter zu glänzen. Und die Tatsache, dass ich vom Hochsommer in den Winter kommen werde, erschreckt mich ein wenig. Ich habe gar keine richtigen Wintersachen mehr. Da muss dringend geshoppt werden! *g*
Tja nun wisst ihr, was mir seit Wochen durch den Kopf geht und mich beschäftigt. Aus Fudge wird Duplo, wie eine Freundin zu mir sagte. (Lieben Gruß nach Stuttgart an dieser Stelle!) Und ich werde mich wohl langsam an Fischbrötchen, mieses Wetter und Fleete (ein neues Wort das ich diese Tage lernte) gewöhnen müssen.
