Heute durfte ich Einkaufsberater spielen. Eine Rolle die mir wie auf den Leib geschnitten ist. Das Ziel waren jedoch nicht Klamotten-Läden, sondern ein Einkaufsbummel bei IKEA!
Ich war von jeher schon ein ausgesprochen großer Fan des schwedischen Möbelhauses. Von daher war ich gleich hellauf begeistert, als ich auch nur das Wort IKEA hörte.
Schon am Eingang laden bunte Farben und die riesigen gelben Taschen zum Shoppen ein. Ein vorgezeigter Weg führt mich durch Wohnzimmer, Küchen, Schlafzimmer und…. in die Kinderabteilung!!!! Diese ist, neben der Bilderrahmen und Kerzenabteilung, meine favorisierte Anlaufstelle. Nicht weil ich Kinder habe, die mich zum Bällchenbad zerren und auch nicht weil ich mir sehnsüchtig Kinder wünsche und auch ganz sicher nicht, um mir das Geschrei der Kleinkinder dort anzutun. Ich stehe völlig und total auf die Stofftiere, Lampen, und wie die Schlafzimmer zusammenstellt und dekoriert sind.
Verglichen mit meinem früheren Kinderzimmer sind diese hier extrem cool. Ich musste noch in einem mit Sarah Kay Tapete dekorierten Kinderzimmer aufwachsen 
Doch das allerbeste an der Kinderabteilung ist das Restaurant, das gleich dahinter kommt. Ja werdet ihr jetzt denken, Köttbullar, das mag die Fudge! FALSCH!!! Ich mag natürlich den Kuchen!
Nachdem ich mir also den Bauch mit Kuchen gefüllt habe, geht es weiter zu meiner nächsten Lieblingsabteilung: Der Kerzen, Schnick Schnack und Bilderrahmenabteilung! Leider muss man zuvor noch einige Hürden nehmen und dem 6er Pack Gläser widerstehen und auch das ultra günstige Tablett oder den Wok für 5EUR braucht kein Mensch. Doch auf wunderliche Weise landet das Zeugs ja doch in der gelbenTasche, die man mittlerweile in einen Einkaufswagen gelegt hat.
Und dann, endlich… die Kerzen!!!! Ich schnüffele mich immer durch das duftende Angebot und schleppe ein Teelicht und Windlicht nach dem nächsten in mein Wägelchen. Doch heute war ich ganz tapfer! Nicht eine Kerze oder ähnliches!!! *stolz guck*
In der Tat war dies so glaube ich, der günstigste IKEA-Kauf aller Zeiten. Ich kaufte vier Geschirrtücher und eine Rolle meiner Lieblingskekse. Insgesamt gab ich dafür 3.95$ aus.
Nur etwas ist in Australien sehr, sehr schade. In Deutschland liebe ich die Hotdogs, die am Ende eines jeden IKEA Einkaufs als Belohnung am Ausgang bereits meinen Namen rufen. Lecker mit verschiedenen Soßen, Röstzwiebeln und Gurkenscheibchen. Hier gibt es nur den Hotdog und Ketchup und Senf. Sonst nichts. 
Seht ihr, es hat auch sehr viele Vorteile in Deutschland zu wohnen
Aber trotzdem ist IKEA einfach cool!!! Das denken sich sicher auch mindestens 60% anwesenden Deutschen, die den Laden besuchen. Ja es ist unglaublich wie viele unserer Nationalität hier in Australien im Schweden-Laden einkaufen. Ob die auch die traditionellen Hot Dogs vermissen, wie Fudge?
Wer demnächst zu IKEA fährt, esse doch bitte einen für mich mit *Vegetarier dürfen gerne ein Softeis für mich essen*
