… die du brauchst, um deine Installations CD zu starten – schrieb ich gestern Freundin Schatzi per Mail. Gemeint war damit eine Datei die sie brauchte um ihr DSL und WLan fertig zu installieren, denn die Software auf ihrem Rechner war ein wenig veraltet.
Und so starteten wir gestern Abend das Unternehmen “Wir bringen Freundin Schatzi ins Netz”.
Wie zwei Hühner auf der Stange saßen wir vorm PC und beobachteten gespannt die blinkenden Lämpchen des Routers und was auf dem Monitor passierte.
Nach etwa einer halben Stunde war es dann soweit… sie war online. Und nachdem die Quietsch- und Freundschreie verklungen waren, wurden gleich Softwareupdates gemacht bis tief in die Nacht hinein.
Und ich wäre nicht ich, wenn ich nicht Schatzi so mit meinem Secondlife Wahn angesteckt hätte, dass sie sich gestern gleich in der virtuellen Welt anmeldete. Und ich glaube sie ist jetzt auch im Fieber. 
Denn wärend ich kurz raus ging, um gemütlich ein Zigarettchen zu rauchen, hörte man drinnen vegnügte Lacher und Gegiggel, ausgelöst von ihren Aktivitäten in Second Life.

I do love the way you have framed this particular challenge and it does indeed supply me a lot of fodder for consideration.
