Heute lernte ich ein neues englisches Wort.
Gestern Abend war ich noch laufen. Es war bereits dunkel (was nichts zu heißen hat, da es ja bereits gegen 5 pm dunkel wird) und ich wollte noch etwas Bergtraining machen und Speed Work. Also ab zur Tan. Es ist eine kleine übersichtliche Runde, die um den Botanischen Garten hier in Melbourne führt. Sie ist zwar kurz (nur knapp über 4km) aber sie hat einen nicht zu verachtenden Berg. Ich hatte mir vorgenommen die Runde insgesamt 2x zu laufen und zusätzlich jeweils 4x den Berg rauf und wieder runter zu laufen.
Insgesamt lief ich nur eine Runde und nur 4x den Berg, da ich plötzlich einen stechenden Schmerz an meinem rechten Fuß hatte.
Wieder zu hause stellte ich fest, dass unterhalb des Knöchels, wo die Bänder (Ligaments) verlaufen, ein großer blauer Fleck prangt, der auch ein wenig geschwollen war. Und es tat weh.
Heute morgen konnte ich dann kaum gehen und hinkte mich heute deswegen so durch den Tag. In der Apotheke holte ich mir noch eine Salbe (deswegen lernte ich auch das Wort “Ligaments”:-) ) und nun habe ich mir im Bett einen kleinen Tisch gebaut und den Laptop ins Bett geholt. Der Fuß muss ja geschont werden.
Wenn ich nur wüsste wie das passierte? Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnen, dass ich umgeknickt bin. Es tat plötzlich einfach weh. Aber gerissen ist wohl nichts. Denn ich erinnere mich, dass ich bei einem Bänderriss, den ich vor Jahren mal hatte, gar nicht mehr laufen konnte und nicht einmal mehr den Fuß bewegen konnte.
Aber ich frage mich wann es wieder gut ist? In zwei Wochen ist mein Halbmarathon… Ich bin ein wenig besorgt ehrlich gesagt. Außerdem merke ich, dass eine Grippe im Anmarsch ist.
Oh man, manchmal ist eben einfach alles sch…..
