Vor einigen Tagen hatte ich mit einem Bekannten eine Diskussion über Japan. Er ist der Meinung dort definitiv nie leben zu wollen. Zu groß sei ihm der Kulturunterschied, die Gepflogenheiten und Bräuche. Nicht zu vergessen die fremde Sprache und das unbekannte Essen.
Und da erinnerte ich mich wieder schlagartig daran… Denn seit einigen Monaten nun bin ich der absoluten und festen Überzeugung, dass ich unbedingt nach Japan will. Nicht um dort zu leben. Nein, in dieser Hinsicht stimme ich meinem Bekannten völlig zu. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich auf Dauer dort happy sein würde. Doch ich will mir unbedingt in einem Urlaub einmal Japan ansehen! Uuuuuuunbedingt. *Ich glaube ich bin ein wenig besessen von der Idee*
Ich habe meine japanische Freundin Emi sicher schon tausend Mal über Japan und alles was damit zu tun hat ausgequetscht. Sie fliegt am Mittwoch nach Tokyo, um ihren Eltern ihren australischen Freund vorzustellen *grins*. Und ich bin ein wenig neidisch. Sie zeigte mir neulich Fotos von Tokyo. Es sah einfach alles klasse aus!!! Die Farben, die Skyline, die Stadt, die Mode, …..
Wie immer, wenn ich mich wieder mit einer Idee infiziert habe, denke ich permanent daran. Dank des Internets, kann ich mir auch den absoluten “Japan Kick” geben. Ich habe heute sicher 2-3 Stunden damit verbracht, Japan Blogs zu lesen, YouTube zu durchsuchen und mir auf Flickr Bilder von Japan anzuschauen.
Mich hat das Fernweh gepackt, aber so richtig!!!

Bin ich sonst nicht so Asien-begeistert, so ist Japan das erste Land auf meiner Asien-Liste, welches ich wirklich gerne bereisen würde. Tokyo auf jeden Fall, aber auch das ‘Land’ wo hoffentlich noch einige so richtig ‘traditionell’ leben. Vielleicht habe ich als Kind auch nur zuviel Shoghun gesehen.

Die Eltern meiner Freundin (einer anderen Japanischen Freundin) wohnen etwa 2 Stunden von Nagoya entfernt. Soll sehr ländlich sein dort… Anyway, ich habe Bilder gesehen, die wohnen in der Tat noch in diesen Häusern mit Papierwänden und so.

Als ich 2004 zum ersten Mal nach Melbourne kam, war ich überrascht wie viele Asiaten hier sind. Und ich gebe zu, ich hatte am Anfang so meine Schwierigkeiten. Sie sahen für mich alle gleich aus, ich verstand ihr English nicht so gut, war mit ihrer Kultur nicht vertraut und dachte alle kommen aus Japan. Mittlerweile habe ich gelernt, dass die Mehrheit hier Chinesen sind. Aber ich habe erst 2 kennengelernt
