Gestern hatte Emi uns zu einem japanischen Lunch eingeladen.
Zuerst holte ich Laura ab und wir schauten in die Straßenkarte, wie wir zu Emi kommen konnten. Denn Lauras Vorschlag, den Freeway zu nehmen lehne ich kategorisch ab. Meine Fahrkünste hier reichen gerade einmal dazu, dass ich mich auf der linken Straßenseite halten kann. 
Beide hatten wir am Morgen extra wenig gegessen und beide hatten wir riesen Hunger. Nach 40 min Fahrt kamen wir bei Emi an. Doch was wurde uns erst serviert… ein Bier, denn sie waren noch am kochen. Emis Freundin Satomi half ihr dabei. Da ich ja plante doch länger zu bleiben trank ich ein Bier. Zudem sollte es ja noch Essen geben. Ein Bier kann dabei ja nicht schaden.
Dann kam das Essen. Es gab Tempura, was ich eigentlich sehr gerne mag, doch die Menge die hier für 4 Personen auf dem Tisch standen, hätte ich alleine essen können. 
Meine Hoffnung lag auf dem Kuchen, den ich mitgebracht hatte. Ess ich eben davon, bis ich satt bin, dachte ich mir. Wer Japanerinnen kennt, weiß allerdings um deren Leidenschaft für Süßes. Und so wurde der Kuchen in Bruchteilen von Sekunden von Emi und Satomi verschlungen. So blieb mir schließlich nur noch, meinen Bauch mit Jasmintee zu füllen. Und während bei den anderen langsam die Spuren von zu viel Alkoholkonsum sichtbar und hörbar wurden, brummte bei mir nur der Bauch. 
Hungrig ging es dann gegen halb sieben zurück. Laura und ich gaben unser Bestes, doch wir hatten uns schließlich so verfahren, dass uns selbst unsere Straßenkarte nicht mehr half. Giggelnd und um eine Erfahrung reicher kamen wir schließlich Stunden später wieder bei ihr an. Eine wirklich unvergessliche Fahrt!!!
Nun wissen wir aber warum viele Japaner so zierlich und schlank sind, hast du denn wenigstens noch was gegessen als du zu Hause warst

Wer wie Japaner Walfett ist, der frißt auch kleine Kinder – deshalb waren die schon satt.
