Inspiriert von IngoS und seinen Tatsachenberichten, beschlossen Freundin Schatzi und ich, gestern bei einem Bier, dass als nächster abendlicher Programmpunkt ein Besuch im “Hooters” anstünde. Gesagt – getan, oder besser gesagt, gezahlt – gefahr’n.
Alle die das “Hooters” (zu deutsch Hupen) nicht kennen, denen sei es hier kurz beschrieben.
Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Sportsbar in der es Burger gibt. Die zu fast 70 Prozent männlichen Gäste bekommen allerdings für ihr Geld mehr als nur Burger. Wenn die Kellnerinnen gerade keine Teller mit Chicken Wings und Krüge voller Bier zu den Tischen balancieren, wird mit rudimentärem Englisch und lustigen Tänzchen zum Hooters-Song das Publikum in Stimmung gebracht. Man darf Fotos von den Mädels machen und wem dies noch nicht reicht, der kann sich am Eingang mit Merchandise-Artikel versorgen.
Schon beim Betreten des “Restaurants” stach die Kleidung der Bedienungen in die Augen. Weiße Turnschuhe, Sportsocken, knappe enge Shorts und ein weißes (natürlich enges) Top mit tiefem Ausschnitt. Ok, für die Männerwelt sicherlich ein wahr gewordener Männertraum, aus der Sicht einer Frau denkt man eher: “Die braunen Nylons dazu sind häßlich”.
Als wir am Tisch saßen kam auch gleich eine Bedienung angehüft. Nathalie! Ein Blick in die Menge verriet uns, dass wir die einzigsten Mädels waren, die ohne männliche Begleitung anwesend waren. Zudem waren wirklich fast 70 % der Gäste Männer, überwiegend Amerikaner (verwunderlich?).
Kaum hatten wir Bier und Essen, ging es los. Direkt vor unserem Tisch versammelten sich die Hooters-Girls. Giggelnd und aufgeregt verkündete man, der junge Mann zu ihrer rechten sei Phil und “he’s going away!!!” Und der junge Mann auf der linken Seite sei “the man of the hour” 
Und dann ging es los mit dem Hooters Song und einem Tänzchen.
Das Bemerkenswerteste des Abends war allerding eine andere Feststellung. Nämlich der Gang der Girls. Immer Brust raus und wann immer es geht mit dem Po wackeln. 
Freundin Schatzi war der Meinung, dass die armen Mädels nach ihrer Schicht sicher Rückenschmerzen hätten. Wir diskutierten geraume Zeit, was unsere Eltern zu solchen Jobs sagen würden und dass es sich hierbei wohl um einen gelebten amerikanischen Trum handle. Von der Kellnerin zur Millionärin, Model oder Filmstar. Und tatsächlich, die Mädels lebten das Konzept! Freundin Schatzis Theorie hierzu war, dass man Yoga ja auch nach gewisser Zeit verinnerliche. So ginge es sicherlich auch den Mädels.
Kurz gesagt, es war ein witziger Abend. Muss ich nochmal hin? Ich glaube nicht. Aber meine Lachmuskeln wurden bestens trainiert.
