Neulich als ich abends in die City fuhr, fühlte ich mich wie kurz vor Weihnachten. Es war dunkel, die Straßenlaternen leuchteten. In den Bäumen hat man kleine Lichter installiert die manchmal rot oder auch grün die Bäume bestrahlen. Die Lichter der Stadt sah man schon von weitem. Die Straßen waren recht leer und es war wieder einmal so richtig crispy kalt.
In diesem Moment erinnerte mich die Szenerie an meine kleine Heimatstadt, kurz vor Weihnachten. So heimelig und gemütlich.
Kopfschüttelnd und über meine Gedanken selbst ein wenig lächelnd, verdrängte ich den Gedanken wieder. Schließlich ist es nicht mehr lange und der offizielle Frühlingsbeginn ist da!
Was ich dabei völlig außer Acht ließ, war die Tatsache, dass es nun ja auch wieder auf Weihnachten zu geht.
Doch daran wurde ich heute in der Stadt schlagartig erinnert, als ich eines der Kaufhäuser betrat. BANG! Ein Weihnachtsmann, Rentiere, Baumschmuck, Wandkränze und vieles mehr war direkt am Eingang aufgebaut und sollten zum Konsumrausch anregen. Wahnsinn!
Mir ist das ja persönlich ziemlich egal. Da ich ein großer Weihnachtsfan bin, könnte das Zeugs von mir aus auch das ganze Jahr im Kaufhaus stehen. In Deutschland hätte ich mir auch schon längst den ersten Stollen und Spekulatius gekauft. *ja schimpft ruhig, aber ich stehe dazu!!! ;-)* Nächstes Wochenende muss ich unbedingt zu Aldi *die rettende Bastion für alle Deutschen im Ausland*. Vielleicht gibt es ja schon Dominosteine und gefüllte Lebkuchenherzen?! *grins*
