Soeben hab ich mir das Nike + iPod Nano Sport Kit bestellt. Allerdings über eBay, da es dort wesentlich billiger angeboten wurde, als im Applestore. Um die Frage gleich vorweg zu nehmen – nein ich besitze nicht die passenden Schuhe von Nike dazu. Man muss sie auch nicht haben.
Und das kann mein neues Spielzeug:
Man setzt einen drahtlosen Sensor in das passgenaue, integrierte Fach unter der Innensohle des Nike Schuhs ein (oder in ein Täschchen das am Schuh befestigt ist) und schließt den Empfänger an den Dock-Anschluss des iPod nano an. Während man läuft oder geht, sendet der Sensor die Trainingsdaten – Zeit, Entfernung, Tempo und verbrannte Kalorien – an den iPod nano. Kleiner Energiestoß gefällig? Dann hört man das Sprach-Feedback des iPod nano in Echtzeit. Er gratuliert sogar, sobald man eine persönliche Bestzeit erreicht hat.
Nach dem Training synchronisiert man den iPod nano mit dem Computer, um die Trainingsdaten an iTunes und nikeplus.com zu übertragen. Dort kann man die Laufleistung analysieren, neue Trainingsziele festlegen und sogar andere Läufer zu einem virtuellen Rennen herausfordern.
In einem Blog las ich, dass Runners Point kleine Taschen anbietet, in die der Sensor passt. Die Kosten hierfür belaufen sich auf etwa 3 € und die Tasche wird am Schuh befestigt.
Bezahlt hab ich nun alles, jetzt heißt es nur noch warten. *freu* Ich werde berichten wie sich das neue Equipment bewährt.
