Ja ihr lest richtig, er spielte gerade in Melbourne und hat soweit ich weiß, noch einige Gigs Events in Sydney. Und nicht kleinen Hallen wie der Saarlandhalle. Nein! In Melbourne spielte er vor ausverkauftem Haus im Telstra Dome. Dort passen locker über 55.000 Menschen rein. Und in Sydney spielt er in nichts geringerem, als der Sydney Opera.
Ich meine, wann wurde André Rieu zum Hype? Hab ich da etwas verpasst?
Denn ein Hype ist es tatsächlich. Seit Monaten schon machen sie im TV und im Radio Werbung für ihn. Seit Tagen zeigen sie im TV André Rieu Interviews. Er natürlich immer mit einem kleinen Scherz auf den Lippen und einem verschmitzten Lächeln.
Sogar die Musikläden promoten plötzlich wie doof seine CDs!!!!
Vorhin berichteten sie nun in den Abendnachrichten (!) von seinem gestrigen Event, hier in Melbourne. Ich war ja schon auf vielen Konzerten, aber ich muss gestehen, das Publikum war echt gut drauf! (Soweit das bei einem Geigengedudel geht!) Sie tanzten mit, klatschen sich die Hände wund und brachen in helle Begeisterungsstürme aus. Und das obwohl 95% des Publikums locker die 65 überschritten hatte.
Doch das lustige waren in der Tat die Kommentare einiger interviewter Konzertbesucherinnen.
Eine Dame (optisch locker über 70) meinte: “I had nearly fainted when he started rolling his eyes!”
Und eine andere sagte: “He is most likely the best looking man on the planet!”
Oh man, ich will lieber gar nicht wissen, was Mama Fudge über André zu sagen hat. Ich glaube das würde ich nicht überstehen 
Es gibt so viele Dinge die ich nicht verstehe, fast das gesamte Programm der Privaten TV-Sender zum Beispiel. Aber warum nicht. Lieber Omas über 70 die dem André live zujubeln und fast in Ohnmacht fallen wenn er mit den Augen rollt, als welche die den ganzen Tag nur TV glotzen und vereinsamen.

Huestel…ich muss gestehen ich finde seine Musik auch nicht so schlecht und wenn er seine beruehmten Walzermelodien spielt dann schunkel ich auch eifrig mit. Hat schon was tolles.
