Es wird langsam Zeit euch ein wenig von meinen bisherigen Raw Food Erlebnissen zu berichten. Nicht zuletzt da in der letzten Woche einige Emails in meinen Posteingang flatterten und man mich bat, doch etwas darüber zu berichten.
Ich habe es im normalen Tagesablauf bislang geschafft an den meisten Tagen, während der Woche, Raw zu essen. Hin und wieder jedoch gibt es eine “normale Mahlzeit” am Tag. Diese allerdings bestehend aus 2/3 normalem Essen, z.B. Nudeln und 1/3 Raw, z.b mit Pesto und Salat.
Rezepte finde ich bei Gone Raw oder auch bei We Like it Raw.
An den Wochenenden sieht es dagegen so gar nicht gut aus mit meinem Durchhaltevermögen. Man geht mit Freunden aus, wird zum Essen eingeladen oder verspürt unbändige Lust auf vietnamesisches Essen (mein Lieblingsessen…neben Pizza) oder sieht sich selbst plötzlich mit einem Double Cheesburger im Laden mit dem gelben M sitzen. *seufz*
Es ist eine Willenssache, ich will mich da gar nicht rausreden. Doch ich will mich auch nicht gesellschaftlich völlig ausgrenzen. Zudem liebe ich Essen.
Es gibt nur ein Problem…
Je länger ich überwiegend Raw esse, desto weniger verträgt sich mein Magen mit normalem Essen. Soll heißen ich bekomme Bauchschmerzen oder ich fühle mich schlichtweg richtig schlecht. Mein Bauch wird dann ganz dick und nicht selten, fühle ich mich als würde ich krank werden.
Diese Symptome treten meist nicht sofort ein, aber ich kann mittlerweile darauf wetten *und würde gewinnen*, dass es passiert.
Ich hatte darüber gelesen, dass mich dies nach einer Weile erwarten würde, doch ich wollte es nicht glauben. Ich meine, wer will schon glauben, dass das Essen das er täglich zu sich nimmt einen krank macht?!
Ich bin mir nur noch nicht ganz im klaren, woran das liegen mag. An den Glutamaten? Am tierischen Fett? An künstlichen Aromastoffen? …keine Ahnung.
Oder vielleicht ist wirklich etwas an diesem Raw Mythos und unbehandeltes (ungekochtes) Essen, also Raw Food ist wirklich das natürlichere Essen und genau das, was unser Körper will?! Ich weiß es nicht, werde es jedoch im Auge behalten.
Mein nächster Schritt ist nun auf alle Fälle mir einen Dehydrator zu kaufen, da ich diesen für einen Großteil der Rezepte benötige und mir allmählich die Salate, Smoothies, Suppen & Co zu langweilig werden. Einziger Nachteil, so ein Ding ist ein klein wenig teuer. Ich halte schon längere Zeit meine Augen bei eBay auf, aber auch dort fand sich bislang noch kein Schnäppchen. Außer im Internet habe ich auch ehrlich gesagt keinen blassen Schimmer, wo ich so ein Ding herbekomme. Kommt Zeit, kommt Rat!
Bevor ich es vergesse… Mir fiel noch eine kleine Veränderung auf.
Normale Kuhmilch schmeckt mittlerweile ausgesprochen merkwürdig. Schon lange trinke ich meinen Kaffee ja mit Soja Milch, esse aber mein Müsli mit normaler Milch. Doch vor einigen Tagen habe ich auch das umgestellt. Nun hatte ich gestern aber nur noch normale Milch im Haus und musste auf diese zurückgreifen und… sie schmeckt irgendwie… sehr komisch. Lustig, oder!?
Ok, dies sollte eigentlich nur ein kurzes Update werden und nun ist es doch ein wenig länger geworden.
Ich werde euch in regelmäßigen Abständen auf dem neusten Stand halten, was mein kleines Experiment angeht!
