Gestern Abend noch bis in die Puppen gefeiert und heute morgen völlig verschlafen in die Laufklamotten geschlüpft.
Der Grund war meine Meldung zum Queen of the Lake Run.
Ich war total übernächtigt, da ich nur 4 Stunden Schlaf bekommen hatte und mir stand auch so überhaupt gar nicht der Sinn danach mich dem tristen, grauen Wetter draußen auszusetzen. Doch ich hatte mich nun einmal bereits vor Wochen angemeldet, also musst ich auch hin.
Doch ein Zugeständnis machte ich meinen Körper. Ich meldete mich um, vom 10 km Lauf zum 5 km Lauf. *schwaches Bild.. I know!!! 
* Allein der Gedanke daran, den See 2x zu laufen, reichte aus und ich hätte mich fast wieder in mein warmes Bett gelegt.
Was soll ich sagen, es war sehr windig, es war kalt, aber es lief ganz gut. Wie auch beim letzten Mal habe ich den Fehler gemacht und mich zu weit hinten eingeordnet beim Start. So war bei den ersten 1,5 Kilometer fast kein voran kommen möglich. Doch ansonsten lief es sich gut.
Doch ich muss sagen, ein reiner Frauenlauf ist ein wenig entspannender als herkömmliche Läufe. Es ist irgendwie ein anderes Gruppengefühl. Jeder feuert jeden beim Lauf an , obwohl man sich nicht kennt. Und sehr schön fand ich auch wie viele Moms mit ihren kleinen *wirklich kleinen * Töchtern liefen. *Ich erwähne an dieser Stelle nicht, dass einige dieser Pimpfe mich wie die Feuerwehr überholt haben …*
Am Ende hatte Fudge 2 T-Shirts gewonnen, den Showbag mit den Goodies engesackt und noch einen Kaffee und Muffin verputzt und machte sich wieder auf den Heimweg!
Mein Ergebnis weiss ich noch nicht genau. Doch ich weiß bereits, dass ich in meiner Altersklasse *18-39* von 158 Frauen auf Platz 54 bin. Könnte besser sein, doch unter diesen Umständen bin ich ganz zufrieden.
Und so wurde ein Mädchentraum war, denn ich durfte eine Königin sein… zumindest einen Morgen lang!
