Bevor ich hier gleich von allen Mädels gelyncht werde, eine Erklärung gleich zu Beginn!
Es tut mir schrecklich leid, dass ich euch die Tage den Mund wässrig machte mit Sporty Spice und seinen Kumpanen… Doch leider wurde nichts aus dem Bild von ihm, oder ähnlichen Exemplaren!!! Mehr dazu unten im Text!
Ich bitte vielmals um Entschuldigung und hoffe ihr könnt trotzdem wieder ruhig schlafen heute Nacht, ohne wilde Träume zu haben ;-D
Ich war also gestern wie angekündigt am Strand. Doch es war so heiß und schwül, dass ich selbst dort arg ins Schwitzen kam. Und dies leider nicht weil Sporty Spice wieder vorbei joggte. Im Gegenteil, die Hitze hielt alle Sporttreibenden davon ab, auch nur in die Nähe ihrer stinkenden Laufschuhe zu gehen. Fazit: Ich konnte mich ganz gemütlich auf mein Buch konzentrieren, denn auch an Publikum mangelte es am Strand.
Um ehrlich zu sein, auch ich hielt es dort nicht lange aus. Es war zu heiß. Man hätte einfach nur im Wasser liegen können, dann wäre es einigermaßen erträglich gewesen. Doch auch aus diesem Plan wurde nichts. Etwas Blaues kam mir nämlich dazwischen.
Ich lag gemütlich im Wasser, paddelte ein wenig mit den Armen, als plötzlich an meinem Oberarm etwas hängen blieb. *Stellt euch nun einen gellenden Schrei vor!* Eine dieser widerlichen Quallen blieb an meinem Arm hängen und als ich ihn schüttelte dauerte es ein wenig, bis ich sie wieder los war. *ich grusel mich noch immer*
Nun weiß ich aber wenigstens, dass sie nicht weh tun. Ein Blick um mich herum verriet mir allerdings, dass diese Viecher im Anmarsch waren. Ich trat somit lieber den Rückzug an!
Aber ich habe mich nach diesem Attentat auf meinen Arm noch einmal ins Wasser getraut! Nur für euch nämlich, ging ich wagemutig in die Nähe dieser blauen Dinger und fotografierte sie. *Entschuldigt die Qualität der Fotos, sie sind mit dem Handy aufgenommen*

solch blaue quallen hab ich ja noch nie gesehen. aber gut, dass sie ungefährlich sind. hätte mich vermutlich auch sehr erschrocken

So sehen also die australischen Strände aus. Neid, *seufz* hier regnet es noch immer.
Und die Quallen sind wirklich blau, so richtig BLAU! Wahnsinn! Bei uns gibts nur so eklig weiss-grau-dreckige Glibberteile, nicht mal schön sind die.
Allerdings, wenn ich so ein blaues Ding am Arm gehabt hätte, hätte ich auch geschrien, das kannst du glauben!

Das sind aber mal wirklich hübsche Quallen… Gefallen mir, mit denen würde ich auch gerne jetzt durch die Gegend schwimmen. Aber naja, ich will jetzt hier nicht neidisch werden ^^

Hatte vor ein paar Jahren auf Mallotze ne schöne Begegnung mit ner Qualle, inkl. Cortisonbehandlung beim Arzt. Dat war nüsch dolle.
Bei mir hier unten war allerdings nix gestern. Vielleicht werden die nur ans Ende der Bucht “gespült”?

Ein Nürnberger See, den ich am WE während des Nürnbergbesuches sah, war zugefroren. Grmpf. Zu der Zeit wäre ich auch mal kurz zum Aufwärmen mit dir am Strand gelegen.

Ich HASSE Quallen und ie griechischen (auch blauen) Quallen (Medusen) tun sehr wohl weh, durfte ich bei anderen schon bewundern. Die tummeln sich aber eh nur im Stadtgebiet.
@ azahar: Das hier ist nur einer der Stadtstrände. Fährt man so 10-20 Minuten weiter raus, sehen die Strände etwas schöner aus. Sind breiter und man ist auch nicht von den Motorbooten genervt.
Die grau/weißen Quallen kenne ich aus meinen Urlauben nur zu gut. Die tun höllisch weh!!!
@ Sammelhamster: Da brauchst du aber ein großes Aquarium. So klein, wie sie auf den Bilder aussehen sind die nicht. Ich schätze ausgebreitet sind sie so etwa 30, 35 cm…

Es gibt zwei. Die einen sind eher dunkelblau und haben keine Tentakel, da ist def Rand ‘brandgefährlich’. Die anderen sehen den hier Recht ähnlich. In den letzten 20 Jahren habe ich kaum welche gesehen (letzten Sept. nach Ewigkeiten mal wieder). Die kommen nur im Spätsommer, wenn es sehr warm ist und der Wind eben so steht. Und auch nur an die Stadtstrände (nun sind die eben auch sauberer geworden).
Mich habe sie noch nicht erwischt (nur kleine rosane, die hinterlassen nur kleine Pusteln), aber ich konnte schon beobachten, was sie anderen antun. Selbst wenn sie tot sind, packt keiner die an, weil jeder weiß, dass die, selbst wenn die tot sind, noch ‘Gift’ verspritzen.
Aber es gibt so viele versch. Sorten von Quallen, dass die ähnlich aussehen können, aber nicht unebdingt giftig sein müssen. Die im Mittelmeer sind glaube ich die Feuerquallen.
