Bevor ihr euch noch weiter den Kopf darüber zerbrecht, ob Fudge nun einen Millionär gefunden hat, oder gar selber einer wurde, berichte ich doch lieber, wie es war! ;-D
Um es gleich vorweg zu nehmen, und ich schäme mich zu tiefst dafür, ich vergaß Fotos zu machen! Unglaublich nicht wahr?! Normalerweise hält man meine Kamera, für mein drittes Auge. Manche nennen mich aber auch Zyklop … und dann so was!
Doch dies ist eindeutig ein Zeichen dafür, dass es sehr lustig war.
Bereits morgens in der Früh, ging es mit dem Zug nach Flemmington, wo die gestrigen Rennen stattfanden. Ich sage euch, man kommt sich allein am Bahnhof schon vor, wie in einer anderen Zeit. Überall Männer in Anzügen und mit Hut und die Damen sind herausgeputzt und tragen Federschmuck oder Hut. Um alles noch zu unterstreichen, spielte eine kleine Swingkapelle am Bahnhof zur Begrüßung.
Das Wetter war traumhaft gestern. Viel Sonne und zum Glück war es auch warm. Dies war mit eine meiner Sorgen der letzten Tage gewesen, da es zuvor extrem kalt und regnerisch war. Doch trotz Sonnencreme konnte ich es nicht verhindern, dass ich einen mächtigen Sonnenbrand habe. *Ich kühle schon den ganzen Tag mit Aloe Gel*
Ich habe auch gewettet! Auf alle Rennen! Doch Millionär wurde ich keiner! Noch nicht einmal ein Tausendnär oder Hundertnär ;-D Das kommt davon, wenn man mehr auf die Namen der Pferde achtet, als auf die Quoten. Doch es hat großen Spaß gemacht bei den Rennen “sein” Pferd anzufeuern. Ich habe auch keinen Verlust zu verzeichnen, da die lieben Pferdchen, den eingesetzten Betrag, wieder für mich gewannen. 
Doch mein eigentliches Highlight des Tages war der *hüstel* L’Oreal Powder Room!
Dies ist nicht, wie der Name vermuten lässt, ein von L’Oreal gesponserter Raum, wo man lustiger Weise Koks bekommt… Nein, nein, nein! Hier dürfen alle Mädels hin, die Lust darauf haben
- sich die Nägel machen zu lassen
- eine Skincare-Beratung in Anspruch zu nehmen
- die Lippen schminken zu lassen
- oder die Haare hochgesteckt zu bekommen.
Ein klasse Spaß sag ich euch!!! Sogar Jungs standen in der Schlange an *lach*!!! Doch das Allerbeste, war die Goodie Bag, die es gab. Voll mit Lipgloss, Lippenstift, Mascara….. Haaaaach!
So verging der Tag recht schnell und Fudge trank ein Wodka Sprite, nach dem anderen. *als Alternativen gab es noch Bier, Bier, Bier, Sekt und Cola Rum/Whiskey… alles nicht so mein Fall*
Nach dem Hauptrennen ging es dann zurück in die Stadt, wo weiter gefeiert wurde. War ja schließlich Feiertag! *grins*
Und dann verabschiedeten sich nacheinander alle.
Es war wirklich ein schöner Tag und nicht nur rückblickend muss ich sagen, dass er sehr schnell zu Ende war. Was mir bleibt sind nur meine L’Oreal Produkte und ein heftiger Sonnenbrand.
Wer jemals nach Melbourne kommt zu dieser Zeit, sollte sich die Rennen nicht entgehen lassen! Es ist wirklich ein Erlebnis!

@ Claude: Das frage ich mich allerdings auch! Ist mir in Deutschland noch nie passiert, dass ich eine Tüter voller Wunder bekam. Und hier… Fashion Week, Kinofilm Premiere, Pferderennen, Geburtstag eines Shops,…. ständig. Nicht das ich mich beklage, ich finde das extrem cool! Aber weshalb macht das niemand in D?
Negative Seite ist allerdings, dass man hier keine Parfumproben oder Cremeproben kostenlos bekommt.

und auf die Pferde mit den tollsten Namen gewettet. Kann man sich die Rösser vorher eigentlich auch ansehen, bevor man auf sie setzt?

@azahar: Ja, vor jedem Rennen, wurden sie herum geführt. Aber außer einer unterschiedlichen Fellfarbe sehe ich da keinen Unterschied
@ Sisou: Der Inhalt war klasse. Aber alles Farben die nicht so wirklich zu mir passen. Muss mal sehen, vielleicht verlose ich die Sachen! Oder ich geb sie meiner Mom. Der stehen sie glaube ich besser, als mir.
Das ist ja blöd. Da bekommt man schon was Tolles geschenkt und dann kann man nichts damit anfangen.
