Gestern am Freitag, 13.07.2007 ist voellig unerwartet mein geliebter Laptop, nach einem schaffensreichen Leben, still entschlafen…
Ich schrieb noch munter ein paar Mails und ICQ, studierte die News und ging hinueber zur Kueche um etwas zu essen… Als ich wieder zurueck kam, gab er keinen Mucks mehr von sich. Nur ein leises Rucken und sonst nichts. Ich war geschockt!!!
Nun habe ich ja auch nicht sooo viel Ahnung, dass ich selbst herausfinden wuerde woran es liegen koennte. Ich habe ihm zwar gut zugeredet und ihn zaertlich gestreichelt… doch dies kam wohl schon zu spaet.
Eine Ferndiagnose mit dem Kaeferfahrer und ein Aufschrauben des Laptops, durch den Franken, brachten nichts. Der Laptop blieb still und schwarz. Die professionellen PC-Goetter (PC Clinic, etc…) konnten dann auch nur noch den Tod meines heissgeliebten Laptops durch das Motherboard diagnostizieren. *Irgend etwas an einem sogenannten POST ist kaputt, was man aber wohl braucht damit der Rechner beim Starten… weiss ja auch nicht… * Bei einem normalen Desktop PC kauft man in diesem Falle wohl ein neues Motherboard, bei einem Laptop, nun ja ein neues Laptop.
Und genau das habe ich heute getan.
Das hier ist nun das gute Stueck. Es sieht chic aus kann viel, aber leider habe ich nun einen Umlautverlust. *Ihr habt es vielleicht beim Lesen schon entdeckt* Denn da ich mich ja in einem englisch sprachigen Land befinde, gibt es hier keine Laptops mit deutschen Tastaturen und somit auch keine Umlaute. *Was ich persoenlich als harter Verlust ansehe!!!!*
Doch clever wie Fudge ist, hab ich natuerlich schon das Netz nach Loesungen gesurft. Und man staune bitte: ö, ä, ü, Ö, Ä, Ü, ß
*Dieser Eintrag wird aber noch der Einfach heit halber ohne Umlaute geschrieben. Man moege es mir verzeihen*
Ich fand eine Seite wo steht wie man wieder zu seinen geliebten Umlauten in einem Text kommt. Die Anleitung ist zwar fuer XP, aber sie ging auch fuer Vista. Ja noch eine Neuerung… Fudge hat nun Vista… ungewollt. Ich werde sehen wie es laeuft und wenn es Zicken macht kommt mir wieder XP drauf.
Nun frage ich mich aber wirklich, ob es nun an dem Datum hing… Normalerweise bin ich ja nicht aberglaeubig… Wie war es bei euch? Alles ruhig oder Chaos? Glaubt ihr an solche “Schicksalstage”?
….Noch vielen Dank fuer all die lieben Genesungswuensche!!! Ich war gestern beim Arzt, bekam Medizin und nun geht es mir tatsaechlich auch schon etwas besser. Bin allerdings noch ziemlich schlapp heute, was aber nicht nur an der Grippe liegt 
Schliesslich bin ich den ganzen Nachmittag durch die Geschaefte geflitzt und habe nach einem Rechner geschaut.
…Da ich heute noch zu beschaeftigt bin mit dem Rechner *Programme aufspielen, Daten vom alten Laptop retten, und und und* und es auch schon recht spaet bei mir ist (11:30 pm), werde ich mich Morgen den Gewinnern der Verlosung widmen. Sorry Sorry Sorry!!! Ich verspreche, morgen werden die Gewinner bekannt gegeben!!!! *Indianereherenwort*
