Die versprochenen Speisen, auf die ich mich schon so freute, blieben mir leider verborgen. Keine Ahnung, ob ich sie nicht fand, oder ob es sie tatsächlich nicht gab. Im Angebot waren jedenfalls nur Burger, Souvlaki, Hot Dogs und holländische Pfannkuchen. Nun ja, wir wollen ja nicht so kleinlich sein. Und auch über die Tatsache, dass Funkenmariechen, die zu Köllner Faschingsmusik tanzten, eigentlich nicht zum Oktoberfest gehören, sehen wir auch hinweg.
Glaubt mir, ich hatte eine Menge zu lachen. Und die Australier fanden es super klasse, ein paar echte Deutsche auf ihrem Fest zu haben. Ein wenig kam ich mir vor, wie ein Ausstellungsstück. Doch als ich mich dann mit einem der Plastikkrüge bewaffnete und in meinen FlipFlops durch das Zelt spazierte, fiel ich unter den “Einheimischen” gar nicht mehr so auf *grins*.
