Genau das Gegenteil fanden jetzt Forscher der Universität von Nottingham heraus: Wer über eine Million im Lotto gewonnen hat, lebt hinterher glücklicher. So gaben über 95 Prozent der Befragten an, genauso froh oder glücklicher zu sein als noch vor ihrem Millionengewinn. Außerdem zeigt die Studie, dass der Jackpot sich positiv auf die Liebe auswirkt: Waren vor Gewinn des Geldes lediglich 68 Prozent der Glückspilze verheiratet, waren es anschließend schon dreiviertel von ihnen.
