Die Zeiten in denen ich mein Alter mit “Anfang 20″ angeben konnte sind schon ein Weilchen her.
Damals kam ich durch Bekannte zu einem ungewöhnlichen Hobby – einer Art bloggen oder chatten auf dem Papier. Man schrieb unter einem sogenannten Pseudonym (Pseudo), so wie ich hier als Fudge schreibe. Man bekam Antworten/Kommentare auf seine geistigen Ergüsse und erwiderte dies mit Antworten/Kommentare bei anderen Pseudos.
Es war noch zu Zeiten, wo nicht alles digital war. Noch nicht jeder Haushalt hatte einen PC zu hause und diejenigen die über Internetanschluss verfügten, nannte man damals noch Freaks.
Somit fand die Art des Pseudo-schreibens auf dem Papier statt. Jede Woche schickte ich per Post (!) meine Beiträge an die Zeitung, in der es dann wieder eine Woche später veröffentlicht wurde.
Später dann lernte ich, dass es auch andere Zeitungen dieser Art gab und schloss mich der damals in Hessen herausgegebenen Zeitung “Subway”an. Das Subway war ein Heiligtum für mich. Etwa 40 Seiten dick, kam es 1x im Monat in mein Haus geflattert. Ich konnte die Zeit nie abwarten, bis es endlich da war.
Natürlich lernte man irgendwann auch diejenigen persönlich kennen, mit denen man schrieb. Der Mensch ist eben neugierig und Fudge ganz besonders. So fuhr ich auf Pseudo Treffen durch die halbe Welt. Ok, das war übertrieben. 
Aber zumindest durch Halb-Deutschland. Geeky nicht wahr!? Aber man lernte unglaublich viele nette Leute kennen und fand einige sehr nette Freunde.
Doch wie gesagt, damals war das Internet bereits auf dem Vormarsch. Und es dauerte nicht lange und die Zeitung wurde für viele uninteressant. Keiner wollte mehr einen Monat auf Antworten warten, wo doch Chatten so viel schneller ging. Schade eigentlich. Auf dem Dachboden meiner Eltern habe ich noch heute einige Exemplare dieses Heftes.
Mit der Zeit verlor ich auch den Kontakt zu den meisten, die man durch das Pseuo-schreiben kennen lernte. Ich habe keine Ahnung was sie heute so treiben, wo sie wohnen, was sie machen. Doch vor kurzem flatterte eine Mail in meinen Posteingang. Ein guter Freund aus damaligen Zeiten hatte sich wieder an mich erinnert und mich ausfindig gemacht.
Ich finde es toll und freu mich wie Bolle!!!
…doch obwohl ich soviel jetzt darüber schrieb…. mir fällt beim besten Willen nicht mehr mein Pseudo ein, oder das von besagtem wiedergefundenem Freund. Ich werde glaube ich wirklich alt!
