Ich sitze gerade am Domestic Airport in Sydney und warte auf meinen Flug.
Neben mir steht ein Kaffee (ganz wichtig um diese Uhrzeit!) und in meinem Bauch befindet sich bereits ein Egg & Bacon Muffin von Hungry Jacks (Burger King)
Es ist ein offenes Geheimnis, das ich auf diese Aterienverstopfer stehe. Ich könnte 2-3 auf einmal essen, doch ich zwinge mich jedes Mal mir nur einen zu gönnen und ihn gaaaaaaaaaanz langsam zu essen. Eben so langsam, wie andere für 2-3 brauchen würden. Nun ja und obwohl es auf Flughäfen in der Regel genug gesunde Alternativen gäbe, rede ich mir immer ein, dass der ganze Flugstress nur mit fettiger Nahrung zu besänftigen ist. *grins*
Für den Flug habe ich mir ein Sudoku Heftchen gekauft. Meine neue Leidenschaft. Nachdem ich nun endlich gerafft habe, wie es funktioniert, reiße ich mir die Rätsel aus jeder Tageszeitung und stecke sie in mein Portmonee, damit ich immer etwas zu kniffeln habe.
Früher war ich ein absoluter Fan der PM Logiktrainer. Kennt die jemand von euch? Ein ganzes Heft voller toller PM Rätsel. Meine Sucht ging sogar soweit, dass ich mir einige Hefte kopierte und daraus einen Block machte. Den nahm ich immer mit an die Uni. Auf die Rückseite schrieb ich den Vorlesungsstoff mit und wenn es wieder einmal arg langweilig wurde (Kam meistens bei VWL oder auch Statistik vor), dann nahm ich mir die Vorderseite zur Brust und rätselte bis mir der Kopf qualmte. Nicht jedem zu empfehlen, der die Uni schaffen will, aber in meinem Falle ging es ja gut. *grins*
So, nun muss ich aber mal langsam zu meinem Gate. Das Sudoku wartet!

…das war mein ursprünglicher Post! Und das geschah danach…
Ich ging zum Gate, musste auch nicht lange warten und wir durften alle ins Flugzeug einsteigen. Ich saß ganz hinten und bis zuletzt blieb der Sitz neben mir frei. Hurrah, dachte ich, viel Platz für mich. Ich packte mein Sudoku aus und war beschäftigt. Plötzlich kamen Durchsagen in Französisch. Hä? Ist ja nicht so, das ich dass nicht verstehen würde, aber bei einem Inlandsflug hatte ich das auch noch nicht erlebt. Und dann kamen Durchsagen in Deutsch. Und dann kam eine Durchsage des Piloten, der meinte dies wäre ihm auch noch nie passiert. Schließlich bewegte sich das Flugzeug…
Doch… dann stoppte es wieder und der Pilot begann eine erneute Durchsage… Er unterbrach sich selbst mit einem “Ups”. Und da wurde ich stutzig. Irgendwas stimmte hier doch nicht.
Ich schaute von meinem Sudoku auf und blickte in die verwirrten Gesichter der anderen Passagiere. Dann kam wieder der Pilot. Der Flug muss abgebrochen werden, wir müssten aber alle im Flugzeug bleiben, bis das Problem gefunden wäre. Ok, welches Problem dachte ich mir?! Bislang war nämlich davon keine Rede. Also ging es wieder zurück.
Verwirrende Durchsagen folgten, keiner wusste was los war und schließlich, nach einer Stunde hieß es, wir müssten das Flugzeug alle verlassen und würden auf andere Flüge umgebucht werden, weil und nun die original Worte des Piloten: This flight goes nowhere. It seems it’s just one of those days.
Jaja, ich kugelte mich auch schon vor Lachen. Ist es nämlich in letzter Zeit ein wenig zum Running Gag geworden, dass Qantas, bis vor kurzem noch eine der sichersten Fluglinien, so seine Probleme hat. Es begann alles vor einigen Wochen, als eine Qantas Maschine von London nach Melbourne flog und unterwegs ein Loch im Rumpf aufriss… während des Fluges!!! Seitdem ist der Wurm drin und ständig hört man weitere Horrorstories und von aus Sicherheit gecancelten Flügen.
Tja nun erlebte ich es auch hautnah.
Ich bin ja froh, dass man so umsichtig ist und lieber einen Flug abbricht. Doch was mich wirklich ärgerte war die mangelnde Information. Keiner wusste was los ist. Uns wurde nicht gesagt, was wir nun tun sollen. Wo wir hingehen sollten und und und… Und glaubt mir, ich stand danach lange am Flughafen rum, bis ich endlich umgebucht wurde. Und nun meine original Worte dazu: Qantas sucks! Major!
