Was kommt danach?
Erst einmal ein paar freie Tage – Weihnachten – Silvester – und dann der Umzug.
Nach 4 Jahren Hamburg, gehe ich wieder zurück nach Melbourne.
Ich freue mich schon sehr. Und dennoch bin ich gerade sehr melancholisch, lasse ich doch einige Freunde hier zurück. Ein großes berufliches Netzwerk und ja, eine Stadt, die ich in den letzten Jahren lieben gelernt habe.
Vor vier Jahren saß ich schon einmal am Rechner und schrieb einen ähnlichen Post. Damals ging ich nach Deutschland. Eine kleine Reise ins Ungewisse. Geplant war ein Jahr. Nun sind es vier geworden.
Und auch damals bekam ich ein beklemmendes Gefühl, als ich die Zeilen hier im Blog schrieb. Zweifel und Vorfreude.
Ich habe viel gelernt, in den vergangenen vier Jahren. Es gibt nichts davon, was ich missen möchte. Und wenn ich wieder nach Deutschland komme, dann nach Hamburg.
Denn das “Sprichwort” stimmt: Hamburg meine Perle. Wer hätte das vor vier Jahren gedacht….
Stimmt, Byron ist wirklich super… Wir waren auch noch das ein oder andere Mal danach da^^ Ich war 5 Monate in Australien zum Studieren… Wie es klingt warst du länger da. Und jetzt gehts auch wieder runter. Find ich toll. Melbourne fand ich richtig toll, als wir da waren.
Wahnsinn, dass das schon 4 Jahre her ist! Bin gespannt zu hören, was du in Australien vorhast.

Ich habe es schon oftofotoftoft gesagt, aber ich sage es gerne noch einmal.
Ich freue mich so sehr, dass es für dich wieder zurück nach Melbourne geht. Ich habe dich damals vor… (ähm) … diversen Jahren als “Fudge aus Melbourne” kennengelernt und genau die bist du für mich auch die ganze Zeit über geblieben. Nicht die von den Makis, nicht Miss Shoppingverse und auch nicht die aus Hamburg. Sondern eben Fudge aus Melbourne.
Ich fand es immer toll, wenn es morgens etwas Neues aus Australien zu lesen gab. Ich mochte die Fotos und Videos aus Melbourne, die Artikel über Massagen und Essen, das ich noch nie zuvor gesehen habe. Melbourne war anders als Hamburg, irgendwie… lustiger? Ich wünsche dir, dass du dort einen ganz wundertollen Neustart hast und uns über Steve mit Artikeln über dein Homecoming erfreust.
@Andi: Klar fällt einem das schwer, sein Geschäft zu verkaufen. Aber es ist “nur Arbeit” und arbeiten kann ich im Grunde überall. Es ist für mich der richtige Schritt.
Im Januar noch etwas weniger, weil ich im Umzugstress, etc, sein werde, aber danach dann schon 
Mach dich auf etwas gefasst 
Und ja, ich werde wieder mehr Zeit haben zu bloggen
@Claudia: Wie süß von dir und irgendwie auch sehr treffend beschrieben. Ich bin in Melbourne ein anderer Mensch als hier. Klar, dort hatte ich damals durch das Homeoffice viel mehr Gelegenheit auch zu bloggen (was auch zudem mein Job war), aber es hat mir auch gefehlt. Ich habe so viele Leute durch das Bloggen kennengelernt und ich vermisse es wirklich sehr.
Du darfst also gespannt darauf sein, dass es 2013 hier auf Steve wieder (vielleicht nicht täglich, aber zumindest regelmäßig) wieder neue Geschichten, Supermarkt Fotos… aus Down Under geben wird!
