In meiner Post-Halbmarathon Euphorie schmiedete ich Pläne an welchen Läufen ich in dieser Saison noch teilnehme.
In Frage kamen, der Brazilian Butterfly Queen of the Lake und der Sandy Point Half Run. Der Queen of the Lake (QOTL) ist ein 10k, bzw 5k Lauf und der Sandy Point Half, wie es der Name bereits vermuten lässt, ein Halbmarathon (oder wahlweise auch 10k).
Zum Glück habe ich mich nur zum QOTL verbindlich angemeldet. Aber in meinem Übermut natürlich für die 10k. “Ist ja ein Kinderspiel…”, “…mach ich mit Links” und “Gutes Training für den Halben…” dachte ich. Pah! Nix war. In letzter Zeit habe ich mehr Krafttraining gemacht und war so selten Laufen, dass meine Laufschuhe schon Sie zu mir sagen. Und nun ist am Sonntag besagter 10km Lauf. *uuugh*
Aus diesem Grund kommt Fudge so langsam wieder in die Gänge und macht seit letzter Woche ihre Kilometer.
Wie ihr vielleicht schon gelesen habt, ist meine Hausstrecke rund um den Albert Park Lake, wo jährlich die Formel 1 stattfindet.
Nun muss man wissen, dass es dort trotz Formel 1, das restliche Jahr über recht friedlich ist. Es schwimmen dort Pelikane, kleine mir unbekannte Vögel, Vögel die fast aussehen wie Pinguine und Millionen schwarzer Schwäne auf dem See herum. Manchmal stehen sie auch einfach auf den Spazierwegen und schauen mich mit großen Augen an. Aber zur Seite gehen sie nicht 
Doch heute sah ich zum ersten Mal eine Schwanenfamilie. Ja genau! Papa Schwan, Mama Schwan und 5 kleine graue Babyschwäne. Sehr niedlich. Wäre mein Atem nicht so stockend gewesen und ich nicht schon fast dem Koma nahe, hätte ich es mir näher angesehen. Leider hatte ich weder Kamera, noch Handy dabei, um es zu fotografieren. Aber die nehme ich morgen beim Laufen garantiert mit.
Als ich die Schwäne so hinter mir lies, sah ich im Gras vor mir eine kleine Gruppe ihre Turnübungen machen. Angefeuert von einem sehr durchtrainierten jungen Mann. Er hatte ein Shirt an mit der Aufschrift Personal Trainer. Vor ihm auf dem Boden lagen etwa 5 Frauen, schwitzend, nach Luft ringend und alle mit leichten Gewichtsproblemen. “Nun gut, die wollen abnehmen und holen sich so lecker Motivation..”, dachte ich mir.
Doch auf den nächsten 6 Kilometern kamen mir ca. 4 weitere Personal Trainer entgegen. Alle entweder mit einer Gruppe, oder mit einer einzelnen Person unterwegs. Ist das ein neuer Trend?
Ich überlegte was einen dazu bringen kann, jemanden zu bezahlen, dass er Sport mit einem macht. Wenn ich mich ins Fitness – Studio aufs Laufband stelle dauert es auch nicht lange und schwupps ist das Band neben mir besetzt. Dann hab ich auch jemand der mit mir trainiert. Und zwar ganz freiwillig und ganz umsonst.
Ich weiss ich übertreibe. Mir ist auch schon klar, dass es durchaus seinen Zweck haben kann einen PT zu haben… Aber Leute, mal ernsthaft: Wer abnehmen will soll Weight Watchers machen und seine müden Glieder ins Freie bewegen. In meinem Fitness – Studio kostet eine Session mit einem PT AU$55!!! Allerdings muss man, wenn man diesen Service will 12 Sessions kaufen. Eine allein geht nicht. Doch es scheint, als springen viele darauf an.
Mir ist es in Deutschland nie aufgefallen, dass Leute diesen Service in Anspruch nehmen. Oder dass es sowas für Hobbysportler angeboten wird. Aber das könnte auch daran liegen, dass ich aus einer Kleinstadt komme, wo man an der Theke im Studio, nach getaner Arbeit, gepflegt sein Bierchen trinkt.
Versteht es nicht falsch, ich prangere es nicht an, ich wundere mich nur. Es scheint als habe ich einen Trend verpasst. Aber ich profitiere dennoch davon!!! Wie? Ha, ihr glaubt gar nicht wie gut diese PT aussehen und wie durchtrainiert die sind. Da gehen mir die Kilometer um den See und Umgebung gleich viel besser von den Füssen. *lach* So motiviert schleppt man sich doch gerne schwitzend durchs Grüne. Und das ganz umsonst

….da fällt mir ein! Den Sandy Point laufe ich auch mit, aber nur die 10km.
Na dann mal viel Erfolg beim Marathon – meine aktive Laufzeit hat beim Fußballverein angefangen und mit der Absolvierung meine Grundwehrdienstes wieder aufgehört.
Wenn man sich für das was man macht interessiert, kann man sich das Wissen selber aneignen. Viel wichtiger wäre ein Ernährungsberater, der einem einen guten Ernährungsplan aufstellt und diesen immer wieder aktualisiert. Trainieren kann man auch alleine 
Was die Personal Trainer Geschichten angeht, so wird es wahrscheinlich in DE noch einiges dauern, bis viele davon Gebrauch nehmen. Die deutsche Mentalität ist eben anders. Hier will niemand Geld für Schweiß bezahlen *g*
Ich hatte im Fitness-Studio das Vergnügen ein paar Session mit einem PT zu trainieren und gemerkt, dass ich diesen nicht brauche
also ich muss dir sagen, dass ich diese personal trainer ziemlich affig finde. meines erachtens ist das ne absolute modeerscheinung, denn auch hier in deutschland wird das immer mehr. meine freundin hatte mal einen, der hat ein schweinegeld gekostet und als es dann vorbei war mit dem supertypen? ja, dann war wieder hängen im schacht… also absoluter schwachfug!
(klar über die lecker männer auch, nett anzusehen sind se ja, das muss frau ja zugeben hihi)

Aber du hast recht, wenn man sich mit den Themen beschäftigt kann man sich das Wissen auch selbst aneignen. Im Netz findet sich ja alles was man braucht. Was hat der PT denn alles so gemacht? Sagt er dir nur, welche übungen du machen musst, oder ist da noch Gewichtskontrolle, Erfolgskontrolle, etc dabei?
@ hilli: Du ich kann mir denken, dass es für einige gar nicht mal so übel ist. Gerade wenn du Jahre gar nichts gemacht hast und wieder anfangen willst. Das viele Geld das man zahlt motiviert einen von selbst die Zähne zusammen zu beißen. Aber für normales Training… ich weiss nicht. Hier machen es viele als Vorbereitung auf ein Wettkampfziel. Z.B.auf einen 10k, Halbmarathon, oder so. Aber mal im Ernst, das kann ich in einer Laufgruppe/Verein hier viel billiger haben. Und die wissen auch wovon sie reden. Plus, es ist persönlicher!!!
Ich muss echt mal die Kamera mitnehmen und die Schwäne fotografieren.

Ich denke, dass man die Personal Trainer auch in DE bald immer mehr sehen wird. Allerdings ist das wohl nur was für Leute, die ziemlich gut verdienen und den PT mal zwischen zwei Terminen in ihren knallvollen Terminkalender integrieren.
*g* Ich hab mir auch mal die Seiten von einigen PTs angeschaut. Die meisten von denen – egal ob Männlein oder Weiblein- sehen ja widerlich gut aus. Also genau das, was ich- wenn ich knallrot und kollabierend durch den Wald jogge – nicht(!) an meiner Seite haben möchte.
Na dann viel Erfolg bei deinem Marathon. Ich erblasse vor Neid. Mein momentaner Trainingszustand ist so miserabel, dass ein PT nur die Hände überm Kopf zusammenschlagen könnte…:-(
