Obwohl ich ja nun schon ein Weilchen in Melbourne lebe und auch schon einige Male zum Arzt musste, war ich hier noch nie beim Frauenarzt.
Ich warte immer, bis ich wieder in Deutschland bin und gehe dann zu den Routineuntersuchungen und zum Rezepte holen. Denn ob ich nun hier zahle oder in Deutschland ist eigentlich egal. Hinzu kommt, das es das bestimmte “Medikament”, weswegen ich immer zum Frauenarzt gehe, bis vor wenigen Monaten in Australien nicht gab. *Ich schreibe hier Namen und so lieber nicht aus, wegen der Suchbegriffe…lach*
Und auch meine Freundinnen hier – aus Japan, Neukaledonien, Brazilien… – waren hier nie beim Frauenarzt. Man erledigt das bei einem Heimatbesuch und lässt sich ansonsten alles per Post schicken. So kommt es, dass ich bislang keinerlei Vergleichsmöglichkeiten auf diesem Gebiet hatte.
Die junge Dame, die uns am Sonntag netterweise ins Auto fuhr, ist nun zufälligerweise eine Frauenärztin. Sie sah nett aus und ihre Praxis ist auch nicht weit von meiner Wohnung weg… Ich kam ins Grübeln, ob ich nicht doch einmal hier zur Ärztin gehen sollte.
Ich grübelte genau zwei Tag. Dies war nämlich die Zeit, bis ich eine Bekannte zum Kaffee traf. Und sie erzählte mir von ihrem Gynäkologen Besuch vor einer Woche.
Ok, ich weiß nicht, ob die Darstellung für alle Frauenärzte hier zutrifft, aber scheinbar nahm sich besagte Gynäkologin sehr viel Zeit für meine Bekannte.
Soweit so gut…
Doch dann kam es zur Untersuchung. Und stellt euch vor, sie musste sich ganz ausziehen! GANZ! Und ein Kittelchen anziehen. Zur Info für alle Jungs: Das ist in Deutschland nicht der Fall! Glaubt mir! *grins*
Meine Bekannte wusste das mit dem Kittelchen auch nicht und kam auch promt wie Gott sie schuf aus der Umkleidekabine… *grins* Nun ja, es war wohl auch keine richtige Umkleidekabine, sagte sie… eher ein großes Bücherregal.
Und der weitere Schock für mich… sie sagte, es gab nur eine Liege. Nicht besagten Stuhl. Ich weiß gar nicht, wie das auf einer Liege gehen soll???
Für mich hat sich dieses Thema nun erst einmal erledigt. Ich werde mich definitiv nicht in einen Kittel hüllen.
Ich glaube nicht, dass dies der Standard ist. Denn bei Ärzten in Australien gilt oft die Devise “wer mehr will, zahlt auch mehr”. Und es mag oberflächlich klingen, aber ein Arzt hat meiner Meinung nach nicht nur Fachwissen zu haben, sondern auch eine für mich ansprechende Praxis. Aber will ich deswegen natürlich nicht mehr zahlen… nein 
Nein, ich bin verwöhnt vom deutschen Gesundheitssystem, mit dem ich aufgewachsen bin. Da warte ich doch lieber, bis ich wieder in Deutschland bin und zu meinem kleinen japanischen Frauenarzt kann. Ich verstehe zwar nur die Hälfte von dem was er mir sagt, aber die Praxis schaut gut aus und er hat einen Stuhl! *lach* Und es gibt Kaffee!!
Seht ihr, Deutschland ist gar nicht so schlecht, wie alle glauben.
*kicher*. in amerikanischen filmen/serien ist mir das auch schon aufgefallen, dass die nur diese op-hemdchen tragen. furchtbar. ich finde, man darf sein oberteil ruhig dabei tragen. hehe.
Stimmt jetzt wo du es sagst erinnere ich mich auch an diese Szenen.
Bin auch der Meinung etwas Kleidung kann nicht schaden!
das schreckt aber wirklich ab! also nicht die vorstellung mit dem kittelchen, das würde ich noch in kauf nehmen, aber die vorstellung mit der liege *shocking*… gut in kombi mit dem kittelchen käme ich mir dann wirklich vor wie im op!! nene, dann doch lieber auf’n stuhl…
Da gebe ich Dir uneingeschränkt RECHT: Der Standard in Deutschland ist (noch) Gold wert. In Bezug auf Hygiene, Sauberkeit und sowas.
Allerdings will ich nicht wissen, wie sich das entwickeln wird … wir haben jetzt schon Patienten 1. und 2. oder gar 3. Klasse ;(

Ich bin jetzt wieder mal am überlegen ob es nicht schon zu spät ist umzusatteln und einen auf Frauenarzt zu machen.
Da gebe ich dir vollkommen Recht. Dtld. ist bezüglich auf sein Gesundheitssystem (und ganz speziell bzgl. Frauenärzten) ein regelrechtes Paradies.
@Hilli: Was ich vergaß zu erwähnen… Das Kittelchen ist wohl nach vorne hin geöffnet… also irgendwie zum Binden… Das ist ein No-Go!!!! *lach*
@ Meg: Bislang konnte ich mich hier auch nicht beklagen. Hygiene & Sauberkeit war immer ok. Und was ich hier echt klasse finde und in Deutschland nicht hatte… meine Krankenkasse bezahlt Massagen ganz. OK, macht auch nicht jede Krankenkasse, aber ich finde es klasse. So einmal im Jahr muss ich da schon hin, weil dann der Nacken wieder arg schmerzt. *Alte PC-Krankheit ;-)) Gut, sie übernimmt die Kosten auch nicht unbegrenzt. Ich hab ein Kostenlimit, das verbrauchen kann, pro Jahr und danach zahle ich selbst dazu. Aber ich finde das fair. Nur Medikamente muss ich meist selbst zahlen. Das geht ins Geld.

@ azahar: Wie ist es denn in Spanien geregelt? Zahlst du sehr viel selbst dazu für spezielle Untersuchungen?
*kicher* Hier ist es genauso. Ich kann mich leider in Deutschland nicht untersuchen lassen u. muß hier gehen.
Vorsorgeuntersuchungen auf Liege, Engelshemd an, aber nur von Krankenschwester durchgeführt. Instrumente nicht vorgewärmt…!! Wenn man das bestimmte “Medikament” braucht, dann geht man zur Family Planning Clinic u. bekommt nur Blutdruck gemessen u. geht dann mit dem kostenfreien Rezept (6 Monate Vorrat) wieder hinaus.
Auch im Krankenhaus bekommt man für jede, außer Blutuntersuchung, ansonsten jede Untersuchung EKG, Röntgen ein Engelshemdchen an.
Hm, also mein Frauenarztbesuch hier in den USA war bisher immer ohne Arzt und auch ohne Kittel. Ich konnte oben rum angezogen bleiben und bekam aber so eine Art Bettlaken mit dem ich mich unten herum einhüllen konnte. Ich habe hier immer nur Hebammen gesehen, weil ich wohl kein Risikomensch bin. Man macht hier auch nur das Nötigste und die “Teile” sind vorgewärmt, also nicht so eiskalt wie in Deutschland. Um es aber trotzdem ganz schlimm zu machen hat man mir beim letzten Mal einen gutaussehenden, uniformierten Soldaten geschickt. Die Hebamme meinte das wäre Lt. soundso und der würde dann heute mal den Krebsabstrich machen. Quasi so zum üben. Das ist dann der Moment wenn man nur noch ganz laut SCH**** rufen möchte…..

@ Kleeblumenkranz: Auweije *lach* Krebsabstrich vom Soldaten. Sag mir jetzt nur noch der war auch in Uniform?? Ich hab ja kein Problem damit, wenn mich ein Mann untersucht, was mich in Deutschland nur immer stört ist, wenn die Arzthelferin ständig reinkommen, etwas fragen, etwas hinlegen… Da bin ich schon das ein oder andere Mal patzig geworden und hab gesagt, dass mir das gar nicht passt. Ist mir egal, ob die das jeden Tag sehen und ob ihnen das nichts ausmacht.
Aber interessant die Landesunterschiede zu hören, findest du nicht auch!?
Hier in Spanien kann man rein theoretisch alle wichtigen Untersuchungen von der normalen staatlichen Krankenversicherung bekommen (außer Zahnarzt, da wird gar nichts gezahlt, nicht mal die Zahnspange wenn die Zähne vollkommen verkehrt herum im Mund stehen), aber man muss sehr, sehhhhr viel Geduld mitbringen. Das kann dauern bis man einen Termin bekommt…
Wir haben schließlich eine private Zusatzversicherung abgeschlossen und kamen aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus. Statt Gesundheitszentrum wieder ganz normal selbst einen Arzt aussuchen, anrufen, Termin machen und fertig. Die privaten Krankenhäuser sind der reine Luxus und um bestimmte Untersuchungen muss man nicht betteln, sie werden einem geradezu nachgeworfen.
In Spanien gibt es übrigens auch das Laken, das man sich um die Hüften wickeln darf
Du bekommst hier das besagte Medikament ganz einfach. Zum normalen Arzt gehen, der misst dir den Blutdruck und fragt dich noch ein paar belanglose Fragen, sucht nach dem Aequivaltent und schon bekommst du ein Rezept fuer wie lange du auch immer es haben willst. Praktisch sage ich dir.

In Spanien war ich auch schon mal beim Zahnarzt (in einem der Gesundheitszentren) und da hätte man mir schon die Behandlung bezahlt… die Behandlung ZAHN ZIEHEN. Also, dass ist das einzige was gezahtl wird (..ist auch schmerzlindernd. ;)) Sofort wusste ich woher die ganzen privaten Zahnarztpraxen kamen.
Ne, da da zahl ich lieber für’s Bohren.
Aber das mit dem Soldaten ist ja schrecklich. Ich wäre sofort aufgesprungen (soweit möglich) und wäre davon gerannt…
