Was ihr auf dem Bild seht ist mein Arbeitsplatz in meiner kleinen Büroecke. Sie ist mal mehr und mal weniger aufgeräumt und wird hin und wieder neu dekoriert. Schließlich denke ich mir hier die Texte für meine Blogs aus und schmiede Pläne, da sollte zumindest etwas Kleinkram um mich herum sein, der mich inspiriert.
Nun mag man denken, dass der Schreibtisch recht klein ist, doch sollte man dabei nicht vergessen, dass Fudge auch kein Riese ist und ein Laptop nun einmal nicht viel Platz braucht. Ja, er könnte etwas länger sein, zugegeben. Doch meine Wohnung ist nicht sonderlich groß und ich bin schon sehr froh, eine kleine Büroecke zu haben.
Doch so nett es sich hier auch arbeiten lässt, im Herbst & Winter bin ich immer wieder mit dem selben Problem konfrontiert.
Ihr seht auf der rechten Seite das Fenster? Nun, es ist alles andere als Winddicht. Sitze ich einfach nur da, kann ich fühlen, wie sich die kalte Luft durch die Ritze hereindrückt.
Auf der linken Seite hingegen, hier leider nicht im Bild, ist eine kleine Elektroheizung. (Zentralheizungen sind in Australien noch ein Fremdwort). Sie macht schön warm, ja sie heizt den kleinen Raum richtig gut auf.
Würde man nun allerdings mit der Wärmekamera ein Bild von Fudge an ihrem Schreibtisch machen, wäre die rechte Körperhälfte, insbesondere auch die rechte Hand, dunkelblau, wohingegen die gesamte linke Körperhälfte tiefrot wäre.
Ein weiterer Störfaktor: ich trinke bei der Arbeit recht viel Tee & Kaffee. Und den am liebsten heiß! jetzt habe ich allerdings die Angewohnheit meine Tasse immer rechts zu platzieren. (siehe im Bild die Wasserflasche) Ihr denkt es euch schon, die kalte Luft kühlt meine Getränke auf Minusgrade herunter.. (naja zumindest fast ;-D)
Ein sehr unbefriedigender Zustand!
Daher werde ich später umbauen. Der Schreibtisch kommt direkt vor das Fenster. So kann ich nicht nur meinen Nachbarn beim Essen zusehen und ihre Wohnung bewundern, sondern hoffe, dass der Laptop und meine Bücher etwas von der Kälte von mir fernhalten. Zudem ist die kalte Luft eine prima extra Kühlung für das kleine Laptop. Dadurch dass die Heizung dann vollkommen frei steht, kann sie dann besser die Wärme abgeben und den Raum schneller heizen.
Ich bin gespannt, ob meine Rechnung aufgeht. Ich werde berichten, sobald ich erste Erfahrungen gemacht habe. Wenn es nicht klappt, werde ich wohl wieder meine Wandersocken mit Lammfellfütterung und Handschuhe anziehen müssen. ;-D
