Steve hat den Umzug gut überlebt und ist wohlbehalten in seinem neuen Heim angekommen.
Noch etwas anders ist ebenso angekommen…der Winter. So fühlt es sich für mich auf jeden Fall an. Laut Kalender soll es noch immer Sommer sein in Australien. Doch was ich in den letzten Wochen, bis auf wenige Ausnahmetage, hier erlebt habe, grenzt an einen deutschen *sonnigen* Spätherbst.
Ja im Ernst, als ich heute Abend nachhause kam und noch schnell in den Supermarkt hüpfte, windete es arg und die Kälte kroch mir in die Knochen. Nun liege ich bereits seit 20 Uhr im Bett, versuche mich ein wenig mit meiner Winterbettdecke zu wärmen und merke, wie ich kränkele. Ja wirklich. Mein Hals schmerzt ein wenig und so habe ich ihm bereits eine Tasse heiße Zitrone mit Ibuprofen einverleibt und ein Eis am Stil.
Draußen rüttelt der Wind an den Häusern und Dächern und ich komme mir wirklich vor, als sei es schon viel später im Jahr. Wo war nur der Sommer???? Am Wochenende war es in Deutschland stellenweise sogar wärmer als hier. Wer mir noch einmal etwas von globaler Erwärmung erzählen will, kann sich aber warm anziehen!!! *g*
Wenn es jemand interessieren sollte, wann es in Australien welche Jahreszeit hat, und wie viel Uhr es bei Fudge gerade in Melbourne ist, der kann sich hier schlau machen.
